(verb): "To look steadily and intently, especially in admiration, surprise, or thought."
Throughout my career as a photographer my ultimate goal has been to capture images that not only represent what I have seen, but also ultimately what I felt at the time. These feelings could be a sense of curiosity, admiration or quiet wonder.
From weather formations and candid street photography, to black and white art nudes, Gaze is a collection of images designed not only to draw the eye of the viewer but to evoke an emotional reaction. The images within this collection have been captured on both digital format and a collection of 35mm film types.
Gaze is open to the public for viewing from April 1st to April 14th at level 1, 70 High St Fremantle, with framed prints available for those so inclined.
